Chick Pea Recipes Part One

I'm always looking for yummy ways to include more veggies in meals that the kids will actually eat, and this just so happens to be one of them. Most would turn their nose up to anything if you say chick pea (if they have any idea what it is). However, this is such a family favorite now that I've decided to start adding more recipes that include chick peas! So consider this part one :)

A chickpea and tomato salad that's highlighted with fresh basil - absolutely yum and completely healthy. To top it off, recipes like this can be made by just about anyone. No fancy skills needed here. Just throw it all in a bowl and let it rest in the fridge for half an or so to chill it.... then serve.
